Recent Transformation
I have always suffered with thin, fine hair but during menopause my hair went very thin on top to the point you could see my scalp. I was introduced to Rosanna by a family member and made an appointment for a consultation. Rosanna put my mind at ease straight away and recommend a mesh hair topper, for the first time in my life I had thicker hair which I don’t have to wash every day to look presentable. I am really pleased with the service and can highly recommend Rosanna for any hair loss issues both female and male.

Understanding Menopause Hair Loss
Menopause can bring about various changes in a woman’s body due to hormonal fluctuations, and hair loss is one of the common symptoms experienced during this stage. This type of hair loss is often referred to as “female pattern hair loss” or “androgenetic alopecia.”
During menopause, the body’s production of estrogen and progesterone decreases, while levels of androgens (male hormones) may remain relatively constant or even increase. Androgens can have a significant impact on hair follicles, causing them to shrink and produce thinner and shorter hairs. This can result in overall hair thinning, especially at the crown of the head.
Other factors can also contribute to hair loss during menopause, including genetics, stress, nutritional deficiencies, and certain medications. Additionally, changes in thyroid function, which can occur around the same time as menopause, may also play a role in hair loss.
